Looks like Antonio Brown is back to doing Antonio Brown things on Twitter again. In the most recent episode of Mr. Big Chest does Twitter, Brown decided to take a shot at his former teammate and promising young wide receiver, JuJu Smith-Schuster.
It all went down when Brown decided to randomly tweet “keep your emotions off the internet”, in which brought a cascade of people responding to the hypocrisy of that statement. One of the best twitter responses was from comedian Bill Crawford.
Great tweet, incredible tweet. If you haven’t heard the story of Antonio Brown throwing furniture from the balcony of the Florida apartment, then you’d get why the tweet was gold. Supposedly Brown was mad at something or someone and started huckin’ things out of the 14th story apartment nearly hitting a toddler and his grandfather. I know crazy right? that doesn’t sound like Antonio Brown at all, shocking stuff (insert sarcasm). Anyways, Brown decided to respond right back to the comedian, and why anyone wants to go back and forth with professional comedians on social media is beyond me.
Anyways this tweet elicited another barrage of hilarious responses.
That is when Brown decided to keep on the attack with random fans, only moments after telling the Twitter world to keep their emotions off the internet. He responds to the tweet.
His new tactic apparently was to insult his former teammate JuJu Smith-Schuster who fumbled a punt return in the last game of the season in which the Steelers lost. Remember, that game that Brown deiced to not play in, because his feelings got hurt? Of course this didn’t sit well with the younger Pittsburgh star in JuJu but instead of attacking Brown for not playing in the game, he actually took the high road on it.
He was right as well, all the drama that had been surrounding Brown for the past 6 months or so, JuJu kept his mouth shut. He never once bad mouthed Brown, Ben Roethlisberger, or the Steelers organization.
It’s unfortunate but the once beloved start receiver of the NFL is having fans across the nation turn on him quick. These antics aren’t helping the cause, and throwing people/former teammates under the bus doesn’t help much either. I’ve said it once before and I’ll say it again, Antonio Brown is almost the Donald Trump of twitter, he’s says ridiculous, outlandish things that give him more notoriety, and the more notoriety the bigger the ego. Can’t wait till Oakland plays the Steelers now, that should be a good one.
